Acre / Privacy policy
Acre privacy policy.
This policy covers Acre, a plugin for ChatGPT and Claude made by Delightful Computer LLC (“Delightful Computer”), and the Acre server (acre-mcp.vercel.app). Effective October 9, 2026.
In short: without signing in, Acre uses the facts in a request to answer that request, then keeps nothing. Signing in is optional. If you sign in and ask Acre to save your register, it keeps what you asked it to save, encrypted, until you delete it. Acre sets no cookies and does not sell or share your information.

What Acre receives
Acre never receives files. When ChatGPT or Claude calls Acre, the assistant sends the fields for that request, drawn from what you shared. Depending on the job, that can include:
- Property details: a label for each property, its property code, state and county, whether it is in the City of Los Angeles and privately owned, building type, unit counts (including rent-controlled and code-enforcement program units), gross floor area, whether it has an open notice to comply, and the owner entity name.
- Utility bill fields: provider, account number, service address, service dates, statement and due dates, current charges, prior balance, payments and credits, amount due, the page each field came from, the period and account you expected, and earlier bills to compare against.
- Move-out details: the tenant’s name, the property and unit, the move-out date, the deposit and any interest, and each deduction with its description, category, amount and whether a receipt exists. Deduction descriptions are free text and can contain personal details, so include only what the statement needs.
- Your own coding for import files: property codes, vendor codes and GL accounts.
- Your role, such as property manager or landlord, when the assistant shows Acre’s list of jobs.
- Technical information the app attaches to each call, such as the app’s name and version, your language setting, an approximate location and an anonymized user ID. Acre does not use or keep it.
- If you sign in: a token from Acre’s sign-in provider, WorkOS, that carries a user ID for you. Acre checks the token and keeps the user ID with your saved register. Acre never sees your sign-in password.
What Acre does not receive
Acre never asks for passwords, MFA codes, bank or card numbers, or government ID numbers, and you should not give them. Acre does not receive your ChatGPT or Claude account name, email or password, or your chat history.
How Acre uses it
Acre uses the facts in a request only to answer that request: to list obligations, check a bill, build an import file or draft a deposit statement. It is not used for advertising, profiling or training models.
What Acre keeps
If you don’t sign in, nothing. Each request is handled and then discarded.
If you sign in, Acre keeps only what you ask it to save in your register: your properties and the facts you gave about them, owner names, obligations you marked done or not applicable and the date, and for each utility bill you save, the provider, account number, billing period, current charges, amount due, statement and due dates, and the check result. A property’s name is whatever you call it, which may be its street address. Acre never saves a bill’s service address field, the bill itself, a password, an MFA code, a card number or a payment.
With the register, Acre keeps your sign-in user ID, when your account and each item were created and changed, a count of recent calls for rate limiting, which it clears after about 15 minutes, and for each day, how many times each saved-register tool answered you. Those daily counts hold no content from your requests, and they go when your account does.
The server runs on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard request logs, such as the time, path, response status and network address, for the retention period Vercel sets for the account, and Acre’s error logs if an unexpected error occurs. Acre’s code does not write the content of your requests to those logs.
Security
Requests to Acre travel over HTTPS. Each saved register is encrypted in the database with its own key (AES-256-GCM). Someone who can read the database can see how many items an account has and when they changed, but not what they say. The server reads your register in plain text only while it handles your request. This is encryption at rest, not end-to-end encryption.
Sharing
Delightful Computer does not sell, rent or share information from Acre requests. Three service providers handle it on Acre’s behalf: Vercel runs the server; Neon hosts the database that holds saved registers; WorkOS runs sign-in and keeps your email, name, sign-in credentials and sign-in history under its own terms.
Your conversation with ChatGPT or Claude, including what you ask Acre to do and what Acre returns, is handled by OpenAI or Anthropic under their own privacy policies.
This website
The Acre pages on delightful.computer use the same lightweight page analytics as the rest of this site. See https://delightful.computer/privacy for the website’s own privacy notes.
Children
Acre is a tool for people who manage rental property. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly receive their information.
Your choices
You decide what to share in each request, and you can remove Acre from ChatGPT or Claude at any time in that app’s settings. If you signed in, ask Acre to show or export your register, or to delete a property, a bill or everything. Deleting everything removes your account and all it holds and cannot be undone. Copies in database backups last until those backups expire. To also remove your sign-in record at WorkOS, email morgan@delightful.computer.
Saved registers are kept until you delete them; Acre does not delete them on its own.
California privacy rights
California residents have the right to know what personal information a business collects, to ask for it to be deleted or corrected, and not to have it sold or shared. Acre uses personal information only to answer the request it came in, keeps it only when you sign in and ask it to save your register, and does not sell or share it. You can see, export and delete your register by asking Acre. To ask a question or make a request, email morgan@delightful.computer. You will not be treated differently for making one.
Changes
If Acre starts keeping anything new, this policy will say so first and the effective date above will change.
