Acre terms of service.

These terms are an agreement between you and Delightful Computer LLC (“Delightful Computer”) and cover your use of Acre, a plugin for ChatGPT and Claude, and the Acre server (acre-mcp.vercel.app). Effective October 9, 2026. By using Acre, you agree to them.

What Acre is

Acre lists property obligations, checks utility bills, builds import files and drafts deposit statements from the facts you give it. Acre is free to use. It does not log in to any website, and it does not pay, file or send anything on your behalf.

Not professional advice

Acre is an informational tool. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice, and it does not replace a lawyer, accountant or the agency that sets a rule. Rules, fees and deadlines change. Acre cites the source and the date it last checked each rule; check the source before you rely on a result, and confirm anything with consequences with the agency or a professional.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate facts. Acre’s results are only as good as the details it receives.
  • Review every result before you use it, file it, pay it or send it to anyone.
  • Do not give Acre passwords, MFA codes, bank or card numbers, or government ID numbers.
  • Do not use Acre to break the law, to harm others, or to overload or interfere with the Acre server.

ChatGPT and Claude

Acre runs inside apps made by OpenAI and Anthropic. Your use of those apps is governed by their own terms. Delightful Computer is not responsible for those apps or for what the assistant does with Acre’s results.

Accounts

You can use Acre without an account. If you sign in to save your register, keep your sign-in secure; anything done with it is treated as done by you. You can export or delete your register at any time by asking Acre. The privacy policy says what a register holds.

Ownership

Delightful Computer owns Acre, including its software, rules data and text. What you give Acre stays yours, and so do the results it returns to you. You may use those results for your own work and your clients’.

Availability and changes

Delightful Computer may change, pause or stop Acre at any time, and may block access for anyone who breaks these terms. These terms may change too; the effective date above will change when they do, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

No warranty

Acre is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Delightful Computer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for missed deadlines, penalties, fees or lost profits, arising from your use of Acre. Because Acre is free, Delightful Computer’s total liability for any claim about Acre is limited to US$100.

Indemnity

If you use Acre in a way that breaks these terms or the law, and someone brings a claim against Delightful Computer because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

The whole agreement

These terms are the whole agreement between you and Delightful Computer about Acre. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies.
